Haven't seen any of the week's releases... well, aside from Bad Girls from Mars, which I caught on late-night basic cable many years ago (God bless Fred Olen Ray). Of the new releases, I'm Netflixing End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones, The Incredibles, Toolbox Murders, and What the Bleep Do We Know!? Of the rest: the Fox Film Noir titles (Call Northside 777, Laura, and Panic in the Streets) and Criterion's trio for the week (L'Eclisse, The Sword of Doom, and Young Torless). Of course, my Netflix queue is close to reaching 400 again, so I'm not sure when I'll actually get around to any of these. Anyone recommend bumping any of them to the top of the list?

I'm absolutely dying to see Ae Fond Kiss.... I always eagerly anticipate Ken Loach's works, and this one sounds fascinating. I'll also rent Man of the Year and all the Criterions that I haven't already seen.

If you can make it all the way through What the Bleep Do We Know? I will personally fly to Texas and shake your hand.

I'm pretty sure I'll hate it, but it has a pretty big fanbase, so I'm curious. Kinda.

I'll have to rent A Fond Kiss. I didn't realize it was a Ken Loach film; I like Sweet Sixteen but haven't seen anything else from him.

I'm about the only guy in the world who liked the movie.

I'm curious as well. I'm interested in pretty much everything, though.

Hey, if you're referring to my Finding Neverland bet, I'm just preparing! This needs to be done properly, after all. Ingesting a shoe is serious business.

What the Bleep... probably sets a world record for the biggest ratio between the film's fantastic, intriguing subject matter and the awfulness of the movie itself.

Beltmann, I think we need to shift gears a little with this documentary. Perhaps Super Size Me meets Nike?

Only if all the shoes come from Goodwill. Spicy!

I think we're getting a decent amount of copies of What the... at Video Plus, which is strange considering I can guarantee that it will rot on the shelves for three to four months before being sold off to some guy picking up bargain-DVD's.
