Last I did with friends was yesterday afternoon. Jordan, Brunner, and Bogusz came over and we jammed for a few hours. Got a few songs done...(Show on June 11th or 18th...*can't remember which one*)

| BUSH DIVING!!! you didnt bush dive you rabbit! i went, and i said i wasnt going to. it was fun, you should have done it. minus the cuts and scrapes you get, its a good time! canning was fun, but it seemed to take forever to work. we need to perfect that a little more. we have all summer. it'll be great! i love you stef! |

Alby and I just watched Bintz pitch a 1-0 shutout against West. Liebetrau drove in the winning run.

I've been playing softball with the same friends--more or less--for about 15 years, and our first game of the season was tonight. We opened well, winning 15-2. Blew the shutout with 1 out to go. Man.
We're on a quest this year. Last season we came within 2 runs of winning the league championship.

Even stranger is going to the movies with your former teachers, which I now do semi-regularly. It was my high school Western Civ teacher who introduced me to Ingmar Bergman and therefore to foreign films; nearly 15 years later, we still watch foreign stuff together. (He also composed and performed a song for my wedding.) And every year my old Humanities teacher and I have an Oscar-prediction wager. The loser must take the winner to three movies (all selected by the winner), meaning the loser drives, pays for tickets, and pays for food. High-stakes gambling, I say. I'm on a 4-year winning streak. The Monday after the ceremony, I slyly pop into his classroom and say something like, "So John, how do ya feel about Mongolian documentaries?"

Mr. Smith was talking about circumcision and going into detail today in Western Civ.
Last thing I did with my friends was unsuccessfully go PA shopping. (Today after school)

Especially this American Lit Honors 10 course I take at West Bend East. I can't tell you how many times the class has ended in heated discussion about pornography and it's paraphernalia. I'm not sure why teachers aren't jailed for this. |
