I'm dying to see Eastwood's Mystic River, it looks phenomenal (and what a cast!)

Also, Satan's Playground sounds very, very intriguing... you simply have to look at the premise to realise this:

I also want to see Mystic River. I tend to like Eastwood's movies, even the lesser ones like Bloodwork. I'm also looking forward to Bubba-Hotep, which I've seen, but want to see again, and Cabin Fever. Elvis Mitchel interviewed the writer and director of Cabin Fever on NPR, and the guy does a hilarious impression of David Lynch.

All I need is Tarantino and Lord of the Rings to keep me happy, looks like its going to be a good fall. I just saw "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" (which I really liked) and before it was a preview for Tarantino's new movie "Kill Bill", which got me tremendously excited.

Also, "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" looks like great fun, especially since I just saw the first two. Thanks Eric and I really found that ten minute film discussion on the making of "El Mariachi" fascinating. Plus, the trilogoy got Zach to like his first subtitled movie, being of course "El Mariachi".

As far as more independent and foreing movies I really don't know where to look to see what is coming out in the future, any suggestions?
