Flipside Movie Emporium Discussion Forum Rules
- Respect your fellow forum members.
- Don't harass, insult, or attack other members.
- Don't post anything that violates anyone's privacy.
- Don't post anything pornographic or needlessly vulgar.
- Don't post anything just to up your post count. C'mon now.
- Post spam and advertisements only in the Pimp Your Stuff forum.
- If you need to reveal spoilers when discussing a film, please include a "spoiler warning" as a courtesy.
- Don't post copyrighted material unless it's your property or your use is justified under the fair use doctrine.
- Don't hotlink to images on other websites (that's stealing someone else's Web space/bandwidth).
- Please refrain from cluttering up the forum with mindless, nonsensical topics (a la "What's your porn-star name?"), as this forum is, ideally, a place for intelligent discussion. We can still have fun, but please use your own discretion when posting.
Regarding the Use of Avatars
Since hotlinking to off-site avatars is prohibited, I'll be happy to upload any custom avatars to our server for your use on this forum. If you already have one that you'd like to use, post a link to it in this thread or send it to me via PM. Likewise, if you have an image that you'd like to be made into an avatar, let me know and I or someone else here can probably help you out with that. There are just a few rules about avatars on this forum:
- Animated avatars are prohibited.
- Avatars can be no larger than 77x77 pixels.
- Avatars can be no larger than 7k in size.
Regarding Images in Signatures
Just one rule here:
- Images in signatures are prohibited.
So, Now Then
If you violate any of these rules, you'll receive a warning -- unless your offense is great enough to warrant a ban upon first strike. I generally have a "three strikes, you're out" policy, but I reserve the right to make these decisions on a case-by-case basis.
