Hi folks! I want to know what music you've been listening to lately; if you were to make a mix tape right now, what would YOU put on it??? Hmm...... Here's what I would put:

"White Light, White Heat" The Velvet Underground

"Chi Kung" RZA

"Elenore" The Turtles

"Guns and Cigarettes" Atmosphere

"Belleville Rendezvous" Benoit Charest, from Triplets of Belleville

"(I'll Be Glad When You're Dead) You Rascal You" Louis Prima

"Sooper Feen" Del the Funky Homosapien

"Done Somebody Wrong" Elmore James

"I Will" The Beatles

"Girls & Boys" Blur

"99 Problems" Danger Mouse

"Baby Ride With Me" Howlin Wolf

"What You Want" The Roots

"Spanky Panky" Kid Koala

I guess my time's up. Isn't making mix tapes the most fun thing in the world!?

Nice mix.

Here's a mix of stuff that I've been listening to a lot lately:

  1. My Favorite Things (John Coltrane)
  2. Coming Up Close ('Til Tuesday)
  3. April Skies (The Jesus & Mary Chain)
  4. Today is the Day (Yo La Tengo)
  5. Down and Out in New York City (James Brown)
  6. White Man in Hammersmith Palais (The Clash)
  7. The High Party (Ted Leo & The Pharmacists)
  8. Feel Flows (The Beach Boys)
  9. I'm Waiting for the Man (The Velvet Underground)
  10. Stop Playing Guitar (The Promise Ring)
  11. Wave of Mutilation (Pixies)
  12. Girlfriend in a Coma (The Smiths)
  13. Sara (Bob Dylan)
  14. Ventura (Lucinda Williams)
  15. Major Leagues (Pavement)
  16. Bonzo Goes to Bitburg (Ramones)
  17. Do You Realize? (The Flaming Lips)
  18. Small Black Box (Michael Penn)
  19. Pump It Up (Elvis Costello)
  20. If You Want Me to Stay (Sly & The Family Stone)

I limited it to one song per artist -- otherwise it'd end up being a Best of The Clash mix. Laughing

Good mixes all. Best song listed so far: "Girlfriend in a Coma" by the Smiths. That'd make mine for sure.
