My friend Steven Trimble runs an indie clothing company, Solidskin Independent Klothing, and he's out promoting at the Vans Warped Tour in Houston today. Aside from hanging out with tons of bands -- many of whom even chose to wear Solidskin T-shirts onstage -- he met Juliette Lewis, whose band played today. From what Stevie says, she took quite a liking to him, and he has a picture of her licking his face to prove it. I haven't seen it yet. Anyway, I'm truly excited for Stevie and Solidskin. Sounds like they've done incredibly well today -- moved several hundred shirts, I'm told -- and they've made contacts with a lot of pretty big, major-label bands. Ah, but who cares about all that? Juliette Lewis licked his face!

They should have pictures up on the Solidskin site sometime soon.

Wish I coulda been there with my camcorder. Damn.
