Who all went?

Well, I went and saw LeAnn Rhymes (sp?) *cough cough. It was pretty neat, we were sixth row center, and it was free so, good enough for me.

Then I just went yesterday and saw Switchfoot, that was even more awesome. Yeah, well that's my story.

I had planned to catch Rufus Wainwright, Guster, and Fountains of Wayne. Unfortunately, other things interfered with each, and I attended none. Maybe next year.

But I do have Wilco tickets for August 2.

I went on four different occasions, seeing O.A.R., Blink-182/Motion City Soundtrack, Bodeans/Steve Miller Band, and Dashboard Confessional.

On both Thursday June 24 and Saturday July 3 (tonight) I went to the lakefront and saw the fireworks but did not enter the Summerfest grounds. Tonight I was meaning to see The Roots, but got there with some friends and we just didn't feel like it. Did we miss out on a great show? Most likely. But I'm comfortable with our decision, and with who I am as a complete and well-rounded individual......

I wanted to go on the 2nd to see Dashboard or the Used but I had to work....and I was sad.

I also ended up going on the 4th and saw one of my favorite bands (Straylight Run) perform. To my luck, I met them and hung out with them for about 10 minutes because they were hanging out in Summerfest and no one knew who they were. Smile

i didnt get to go to summerfest this year. i was in Colorado, so ha! but it sounds like there were some pretty good bands playing this year. i wasnt really all that excited to go anyway. but i had fun in colorado. i went rock climbing and we went hiking everyday and swam at the pool. it was very much fun. coming home was nice too though, but i miss waking up to the mountains. but im glad to be home!
