An impressive list! (Commando? Really? I had absolutely no desire to see that until now.) It's good to see Airplane! on there.

I just saw Persona yesterday, and although I favor Cries and Whispers and The Seventh Seal a bit more, it is indeed a masterpiece.

I couldn't believe what an absolute suckfest the US remake of The Vanishing was. Even ignoring the ridiculous happy ending, which completely defeats the narrative progression, the remake lacks any kind of tension or suspense whatsoever.
