I picked up the 10th anniversary edition CD for Reality Bites the other day. Mainly because the songs from that movie rock and they had added 6 new ones on this soundtrack. The acoustic version of "Stay(I missed you)" by Lisa Loeb is one of my favorites off this album. What do you guys think of the track listing...love it or hate it?

I think Lisa Loeb is wonderful, and as a movie Reality Bites is quite underrated. Overall, though, I am ambivalent about most of the other included artists.
Perhaps we could revise the question to also include the best scores of the Nineties?

| I would like to nominate Simon Boswell's score for Hardware. As well as Boswell's excellent instrumental passages, it also includes three songs, all of them great tunes: Ministry's 'Stigmata', Motorhead's 'Ace of Spades' and Public Image Limited's absurdly great 'Order of Death'. |

But if this thread generates discussion, I suppose I'll let it be.
Best soundtrack of the '90s? What about The Crow -- a dark, heavy mix of industrial, gothic, and hard rock that works beautifully in the film, and also stands on its own. Or maybe Magnolia, with the wonderful music of Aimee Mann. To be honest, I don't own enough soundtracks to give an educated opinion.
