Now available on DVD from Tartan Video's Asia Extreme label, A Tale of Two Sisters is a haunting and terrifying tale of guilt, ghosts, and sheer madness. Both stylish and shocking, this visually arresting film about family secrets and uncertain realities is based on a traditional Korean folk tale. Directed by Kim Jee-Woon, the award-winning A Tale of Two Sisters was lauded by film critics from coast to coast, and it was one of the top 10 highest-grossing horror films worldwide in 2004. Following in the steps of The Ring and The Grudge, a Hollywood remake of A Tale of Two Sisters is currently in pre-production at DreamWorks SKG.

In Korean with English subtitles, A Tale of Two Sisters is presented in anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS surround sound. The DVD is available in one-disc R-rated and two-disc unrated versions, both of which include two audio commentaries and promotional footage. The two-disc version also includes a behind-the-scenes featurette, cast interviews, deleted scenes, post-production documentaries, the director's analysis, a psychiatrist's perspective, a photo gallery, and previews of other Tartan Asia Extreme new releases.
